Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) + Forestry (F)

This course equips deerstalkers with the knowledge, understanding and basic skills in administering first aid effectively in line with current practices.

It has been designed specifically to assist people who engage in Deer stalking activities and who potentially may have to deal gunshot wounds, crush injuries, knife wounds, severe bleeding injuries, extremes of body temperature and tick-borne diseases.

It introduces attendees to the effective application of first aid in emergency situations and incidents in order to preserve life and protect casualties until the medical professionals take over.

The training covers a mix of both theory and practical elements and is carried out by one of our members, who is an accomplice deer stalker and certified trainer

Emergency First Aid at Work +F (Forestry) Qualification

On successful completion of the course – Emergency First Aid at Work +F (Forestry), you will be awarded a Ofqual Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work +F (Forestry) which is valid for 3 years.
