The Deer HUB offers excellent deer stalking across the south of England. We have stalking to suit all abilities in 9 counties and over 20,000 acres of forest, woodland and arable land. Stalking is for all six of the UK deer species and UK wild boar.
Costs for ‘pay as you go’ stalking are £275 per session which includes any of the Uk ‘s six deer species shot on the session (depending on the venue and resident species). The cost excludes venison which is usually the property of the estate but can be purchased on the day at the low cost of £3.00 per kg.
Alternatively, for stalkers used to the system of a stalk and shot fee, this is also available. Stalk costs are £145 per session – a list of shot fees per species is available by emailing the office.
Stalking sessions are approximately 3 hours. Starting with a meet and greet you will be offered refreshments followed by a briefing of the stalking estate and what deer are to be targeted for your session. All our stalk venues have a deer management plan which is strictly adhered to.
All stalk sessions offer the opportunity for people to progress and as we get to know you and your stalking ability, we will use every opportunity during stalk sessions to further develop your fieldcraft and hunting skills.
At the end of the session, you will be given a stalk memo sheet to keep as a record of the stalk. If you choose at a later date to join The Deer HUB, these record sheets can be used towards one of our Competent Deer Stalker Awards.
