Deer Partnership Scheme
– Nature Conservationists –
Being part of the Deer Partnership Scheme offers multiple benefits for nature conservationists.
We offer a highly developed deer management program with competent deer stalkers that guarantee’s conservation-focused population control resulting in an increase in biodiversity, woodland restoration and habitat regeneration. Having reliable deer stalkers on your land is also a powerful deterrent to poachers and walkers who believe they have a right to roam.
The Deer partnership Scheme offers nature conservationists
- Advice and scheme oversight by our own qualified and experienced ecologist and deer manager
- Competent deer stalkers who are vetted and trained by us
- A professional deer management plan
- Monitoring and annual reports
- Applications for night and out of season licences if required
- Assistant with grant applications
- Squirrel and other pest control
How the scheme works
Contact us and we will send you information/discuss your current situation and/or make arrangements to visit.
After we understand your situation and requirements, we will discuss financial arrangements based on the agreed licence term, access, deer species present on the land and deer density.
Once we have maps, we will arrange to visit on a number of occasions (for observation, not shooting) to conduct a land appraisal. This will highlight deer impacts on crops/woodland etc and enable us to write up a deer management plan.
Discuss with you our proposed deer management plan, confirm the financial package/other details and agree a start date.
